Alongside Linda Espinosa Valencia, Ana Maria co-founded Ventura Collective, a Latine women-owned justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion consulting organization that harnesses the collective joy, strength, and power to sustain equity and partners with committed organizations in their journey to implement the ISO 30415:2021 standard.
She holds a BFA, a Coaching certificate from Concordia University, certificates in Women in Leadership, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion from Cornell University, and a DISM Certification based on ISO30415 from the University of Georgia. She speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Portuguese, basic French and is learning her ancestral language, Quechua.
She has worked with governmental, military, and civilian operations, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations worldwide; she draws from her lived experiences and work in technology, sales, and training. She is motivated by finding creative ways towards collective liberation and building community.
Ana Maria is a member of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), the Canadian member of ISO - International Organization for Standardization. As an active MC/ISO/TC 260 team member, Ana Maria will promote, develop, improve and sustain the ISO 30415:2021 standard internationally.
