Raised in the Central African Republic and India, Anna completed her undergraduate degree in International Studies (with a focus on rural community development). She went on to work in community engagement and program management in Angola, Ghana, India, Sierra Leone, and Canada. Anna also holds a Masters in Disaster and Emergency Management. She specializes in participatory methodology and mainstreaming of community engagement in humanitarian response. Anna is also a trained facilitator with a specific expertise in creating inclusive and collaborative environments.

Anna is committed to bringing her life experience and professional training together to build resilient communities through inclusion, engagement, and collaboration. Anna is raising two children with her partner, Payam. They currently split their time between Ontario, Canada and Saly, Senegal.
